Guests ages 10+ are only allowed to throw axes after a one-on-one training session that lasts about 15 minutes with an axe safety-certified coach. Your coach will keep a watchful eye throughout your event to ensure everyone masters the bullseye and stays safe, so you can relax and cut loose.
We keep it safe and fun for all guests with our wristband system:

Yes, spectators are allowed, but space may be limited during our busier times. At our coach’s discretion, we may not allow spectators to sit at the throwing tables during certain times.
Children 10 and older (14 and older in Honolulu) are allowed to throw with guardian permission and supervision. All minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
You absolutely MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Other than that, we encourage folks to dress comfortably. Also, we love flannel. Forget? We got you covered.
Our certified coaches will always demonstrate proper safety and axe throwing techniques during your first few throws. Coaches are present throughout the experience for questions and to help you master your bullseye.
Yes! Our Axe Safety certified coaches have coached hundreds of thousands of guests to their first bullseye. Blade & Timber literally set the industry standard by working on rules and regulations with numerous city and state governments and insurance carriers. Every guest will receive one-one-one training before you ever pick up an axe! Our training basics are also available online for those who speak Spanish, Japanese, or are hard of hearing and need subtitles. We’ve worked hard to increase the accessibility and safety of axe throwing by teaching blind, deaf, old, young and differently-abled guests how to nail the bullseye. Email us at hello@bladeandtimber.com if you have any questions.
You can reserve a lane online with a credit card by clicking here, but we won’t charge you until your experience - that way you can put your axe throwing experience, tasty food and delicious drinks all on the same ticket (and not have to pay for your friends if you don’t want to!) In the event that you do not show up for your booking, your credit card will be charged. Any questions? Email hello@bladeandtimber.com
Pricing varies per location, with our most up-to-date pricing available on our booking page. We require a 4-person minimum price point during our busiest hours. Feel free to call ahead to check availability!
