WHAT IS BLADE & TIMBER?
Blade and Timber is Kansas City's first Urban Axe Throwing Experience. We're passionate about pursuing extraordinary entertainment and sharing life with one another. What should I wear?
You absolutely must wear closed-toe shoes. Other than that, we encourage folks to dress comfortably. Also, we love flannel.
Can I bring my own axe?
No. Our lawyers tell us that we cannot allow you to throw your own axe.
Can I bring food or drinks?
You are more than welcome to bring snacks. However, we do not have a liquor license yet.
Groups who rent the whole facility are allowed catered food and drinks (even beer!) Ask us about our partnerships with some of Kansas City's best restaurants!
Can children participate?
Children 10 and older are allowed to join in! But all children and teens under 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult.
However, if we doubt the capabilities of a minor to throw an axe, our staff members will not allow it.
Is it safe?
Axe throwing is as safe as any other sport or entertainment activity of similar genre. When everyone respects the rules and safety measures, there is little chance of injury.
